Kyoto where the city to be held the meeting is far from the International Airports. There are some ways to get to Kyoto.
From Kansai International Airport
Kansai International Airport is one of the nearest airport to Kyoto.
- By Bus
Airport bus is available to Kyoto Station. Please purchase a ticket at the Limousine Bus Information Counter at the arrival lobby in 1st floor. It costs 2,600 yen for one-way trip.
The bus leaves from bus stand #8 where the outside of arrival lobby. It takes about 85 min. - By Train (JR West)
The train is also available from airport to Kyoto station. Go to the JR Kansai Airport Station in 2nd floor which is same floor of domestic arrivaland departure lobby. When you arrive at international arrival lobby (1st floor), you need to go up the floor. Buy a railway and express ticket of JR West Airport Express HARUKA to Kyoto Station (about 3,500 yen). Then go to the JR platform and take Airport Express HARUKA to Kyoto. It takes about 75 min.
From Narita International Airport
The Narita International Airport is one of the largest International Airport in Japan. However, it is in Tokyo and far from Kyoto. The ways to go to Kyoto are transferring to domestic flight to Kansai area or using bullet train (Shinkansen) from Tokyo Station.
OPTIONAL: From Haneda International Airport
Another International airport is Haneda International Airport in Tokyo. From this airport, the ways to go to Kyoto are also transferring to domestic flight or using bullet train (Shinkansen) from Tokyo Station.
By Flight
For advance, you should take the domestic flight to Kansai Internatinal Airport, not Osaka International Airport (another name is Itami Airport). Kansai International Airport is better to go to Kyoto because of the easier traffic route. After getting to the Kansai International Airport, please follow the direction in above.
By Train
From either Narita or Haneda Airport, please go to Tokyo Station by train or bus at first. Using JR Narita Express (N'EX), or using Airport Limousine Bus from Narita Airport to Tokyo Station. Or, using Airport Limousine Bus from Haneda Airport. After you get Tokyo station, transfer to the bullet Train (Shinkansen), HIKARI or NOZOMI, then get off at the Kyoto Station.

Access
To get the hotel from Kyoto Station, please take #17 bus which goes to "Kourin-shako" from the bus stand A2. Then get off at "Kyoto-Shiyakusho-Mae".
Also, it is easy to use taxi from the station to the Hotel.
Conference Room
The Conference room is Seminar House in Yoshida-North campus of Kyoto University. To get there, get #17 bus which goes to "Kinrin-shako" from the bus stand "Kyoto-Shiyakusho-Mae" where across the street in front of the Kyoto Royal Hotel. Then get off "Kyodai-Nougakubu-Mae" and go into the North campus. When you find the No.4 building, turn left and go straight. You can find the Seminar House on your left.
